Job Purpose:
We are seeking a strategic, inclusive and commercially minded Talent Acquisition professional to partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and the wider People & Organisational Development function to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes across the business.
This role will lead and deliver high-quality, inclusive recruitment solutions across a broad range of functions and levels, while helping shape and evolve the organisation’s Talent Acquisition strategy, processes and employer brand.
Acting as a trusted advisor, the successful candidate will bring strong market insight, stakeholder influence and operational excellence to ensure we attract, engage and hire diverse, high-performing talent aligned to both current and future business priorities.
This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed and highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Acquisition Partnership
Act as a trusted Talent Acquisition advisor to hiring managers and stakeholders across the business, providing expert guidance on recruitment strategy, market trends, talent availability, compensation positioning, sourcing approaches and inclusive hiring best practices.
Partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align hiring activity with broader workforce planning and organisational priorities.
Build strong, collaborative relationships across the People function to ensure a connected and seamless employee and candidate experience.
Support succession planning and future capability building through proactive talent pipelining and market mapping.
Contribute to the development and continuous evolution of Talent Acquisition strategy, policies and best practices.
Recruitment Delivery & Candidate Experience
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across a broad range of functions and levels, ensuring an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience throughout.
Deliver recruitment activity efficiently and effectively, consistently meeting agreed KPIs.
Design and deliver high-impact, inclusive recruitment campaigns that strengthen talent attraction outcomes.
Provide guidance on selection and assessment methodologies to support fair, objective and inclusive hiring decisions.
Ensure diverse longlists and shortlists through proactive sourcing and inclusive recruitment practices.
Partner with hiring teams to ensure interview processes are structured, calibrated and aligned to organisational policy and best practice.
Support senior or specialist hiring activity where required, partnering with Executive Search and Mapping teams as appropriate.
Inclusive Recruitment & Employer Brand
Champion inclusive recruitment practices across all hiring activity and contribute to building inclusive hiring capability across the organisation.
Stay informed on external market trends, emerging recruitment methodologies and DE&I best practice to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
Partner with Employer Brand teams to strengthen external market positioning and candidate engagement strategies.
Support outreach initiatives, networking events and external partnerships to position the organisation as an employer of choice.
Represent the organisation externally at recruitment, networking and industry events where appropriate.
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
Utilise recruitment data, market insights and analytics to identify trends, measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with Operations, Insights and Employer Brand teams to evaluate recruitment channel effectiveness, candidate engagement and process performance.
Contribute to the recruitment technology roadmap and support the adoption of innovative recruitment tools, systems and methodologies.
Ensure recruitment systems, documentation and data are maintained accurately and compliantly.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency, scalability and overall experience.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Influence and challenge stakeholders constructively to drive effective hiring decisions aligned to business and organisational goals.
Manage complex and competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and business areas.
Partner effectively with Sourcing, Executive Search, HR Shared Services and broader People teams to ensure smooth operational delivery.
Build strong relationships with external suppliers, agencies and industry partners to maximise value and hiring effectiveness.
Support a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive team culture.
Leadership & Team Contribution
Contribute actively to the broader Talent Acquisition and People strategy through collaboration, innovation and sharing of best practice.
Where applicable, provide leadership, coaching and support to junior team members.
Support the development of team standards, service level agreements and operational KPIs.
Act as an ambassador for the Talent Acquisition function internally and externally.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Significant in-house Talent Acquisition or recruitment experience within a large, complex and matrixed organisation.
Demonstrated experience delivering inclusive recruitment strategies and high-impact hiring campaigns across multiple business areas and levels.
Strong understanding of inclusive recruitment, assessment and selection methodologies.
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across a broad range of functions and levels.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and build credibility at all levels.
Experience using recruitment data and market insight to drive hiring decisions and process improvement.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially minded with an understanding of balancing business needs, candidate experience and operational efficiency.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms and HR systems.
Up-to-date understanding of employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements.
Passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and creating equitable hiring practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
Desirable
Experience within media, entertainment, streaming or creative industries.
Direct sourcing expertise, including hiring within specialist or hard-to-fill talent markets.
Experience contributing to workforce planning initiatives.
Experience managing external recruitment vendors and agency relationships.
Team leadership or mentoring experience.
Membership of a relevant professional body.
Strong external network within Talent Acquisition and HR communities.
Salary Range: $80,000 - 100,000 base salary + competitive benefits + bonus potential
Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
