Job Purpose:
The Publicity team is seeking a dedicated summer intern to support the ongoing campaign for the tentpole series The Other Bennet Sister and assist with preparations for upcoming fall campaigns.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple stages of publicity campaigns for priority series. The intern will both support and learn about the multi-layered strategy involved in promoting BritBox titles.
Responsibilities:
Compile and edit press clips for sharing internally and with external partners
Maintain and update reporter media lists
Support and lead coverage reports for BritBox series
Creatively disseminate program and campaign information
Support BritBox publicity efforts under the direction of the Publicity Sr. Manager and PR Coordinator
Research media contacts and new publicity tactics for upcoming BritBox titles
Format press kits and other publicity documents in BritBox house style
Create and maintain asset sheets containing key publicity materials
Provide administrative and logistical support for upcoming events such as talent logistics, press junkets, Series Media Tours (SMTs), and series premieres
Draft media alerts related to BritBox titles
Update external and internal contact sheets
Provide general administrative support for the publicity team as needed
Knowledge and Experience
Interest in media, publicity, communications, or entertainment industries
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and creativity in disseminating program information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred
Salary Range: $17/hour base salary
Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
