Job Purpose:
We’re seeking an experienced Media Analyst to join our growing Data & Insights team for a 1 year contract. In this role, you’ll act as a key strategic partner to our Growth Marketing team — bringing sharp analytical thinking and actionable insights to help optimize paid media programs across a variety of channels, including Paid Social, Search, AmAds and Connected TV (CTV).
Although you’ll officially sit within the Data & Insights team, your day-to-day will be highly collaborative and embedded within the media team — ensuring your recommendations are directly aligned with campaign goals and business outcomes.
You’ll help translate media performance into clear, concise, and strategic guidance that drives measurable impact, within paid media channels and more broadly to customer outcomes like trial to paid conversion rates and lifetime value (LTV).
Responsibilities:
- Embed yourself in the Growth team, constantly maintaining an understanding of the strategy behind campaigns & contributing to planning processes.
- Analyze cross-channel media performance (Paid Social, Search, Display and CTV) to surface insights, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Deliver clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to media buyers to improve campaign effectiveness in real time.
- Connect media activities to broader customer outcomes such as conversion rates, retention, and lifetime value.
- Share performance insights back to relevant teams, such as Creative, to inform and improve future campaigns.
- Optimize and maintain dashboards and reports using platforms like Datorama and Tableau to support ongoing analysis and business storytelling.
- Support testing strategies — providing and interpreting results, and refining test plans.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and platform changes to continuously refine reporting and best practices.
- Synthesize complex datasets into executive-ready insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Act as the subject matter expert on media performance data within the Data & Insights team, and collaborate with other analysts on projects spanning our full customer lifecycle
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a media analyst or media strategy role, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven understanding of paid media channels (e.g. Meta, Google Ads, Reddit, AmAds and ideally bonus points for TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Programmatic Platforms) — including measurement methodologies and platform nuances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Intermediate familiarity with SQL.
- Experience working with visualization and reporting tools, ideally Datorama and Tableau.
- Solid grasp of marketing attribution models and the customer journey.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with key paid media metrics, including CPA, CTR, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer LTV.
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with media mix modeling, incrementality testing, or multi-touch attribution.
- Advanced SQL skills and/or basic Python skills (such as Jupyter notebooks)
- Experience with AWS Redshift or other cloud-based databases.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and their impact on digital media measurement.

Salary Range: $100k-$110k
Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
